plants poisonous to fish?
See if you can find Bonnies online....she has a pond sight that has a list of plants thought to be poisonous.
I've had cannas, elephant ears, umbrella palm, mint, coleus, caladium, water lettuce, water hyacinth, snowflake, lotus, in or around my ponds. So far no adverse situations, even though the taro (EE) are listed.
I would think that the chances of planting something extremely toxic to fish would be pretty remote. Even if one is listed as toxic you would probably need a great deal of it to hurt the fish.

Here's a pretty good site with a list.
