Hooray for the time difference....this thread was so wonderful to wake up to this morning!!!! Thank you ALL!!!
Today DH and I are going into town together (NEVER done...Oh no...), probably have sushi for lunch (our favorite) and then off to the farm of a friend of ours, north of Hilo.... I say farm...John is a grower of anything wierd and wonderful....he has collected all over Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia and has gingers and such NEVER found anywhere...and he is very generous!!! YAY! I am taking him a seedling of H. imperialis from Sabah, a H. rigida (blooming) and....? It should be fun!
