Hi Everyone, I am new here in the forums and new with passies too. I have some that I have grown from seeds this year and they seem to be very slow to take off. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ibartoo
Help, my passie seedlings need a jumpstart.
What type of soil are they growing in?? Paul
They are growing in sandy soil. I live just off the beach so anything I amend my soil with sinks and all that remains is the sand. Most of them thrive, but these seedlings are just so slow taking off. Ibartoo
My soil here in florida is the Same I grow all my seedlings in pots for six months to a Year Be fore planting in the Ground you will also need to use a Fertlizer to but most passie growned from seeds take of slow the first few months Paul
I have found that passie cuttings and seedling LOVE spray n grow (just the micronutrient- without the bill's fertilizer). You can practically see them green up and then they will grow like crazy!
Thanks, i will try doing just that. This is the first time I have grown them from seeds. I think I will pot them in large pots and feed them more often to help them get a good root system. We'll see what happens. Does anyone have a good source for spray n grow, I haven't ever seen it around here. Thanks again, Ibartoo
