When is the best time to transplant feverfew? Now when its just coming up or after it flowers? Thanks.
Moving Feverfew?
I've found if I transplant feverfew now, before it has flowered, that the shock of the transplant often results in no flowers for this year (but plenty next year). If you wait until after it flowers, just give it 6-7 weeks before your first frost so it has time to recover before hibernation of winter.
If your feverfew doesn't survive the transplant, mine is in bloom, and I'd be happy to send you seeds for a SASE, just D-mail me if you'd like any...
Thanks cyra. I have a new baby in the front that I want to move to the back where I lost one (sigh). The one in the rockery is staying put so I'm good no matter what happens. Thanks all. I think I'll move it now to be sure that its well established before frost.
