Identify this bird please

Saint Paul, MN

I didn't see another string, so here is my bird. I thought it was a baby Robin with the speckels, but I don't think it is. It only comes for a drink, no food and I haven't heard a call. thanks.

sorry I just realized you have started another whole forum!

I thought I had a new species too, but then mama Robin came along and cleared that up for me. lol

I keep getting the babies in my yard mixed up. Except my lil Downey WP. He's the cutest!

I thought at first the bird in question might be a Thrush.

You were right, Robins are in the Thrush family.

Thanks! I did not know that Robins are in the Thrush family. I learn something new everyday about our beautiful birds. ;)

Brown Thrasher I am fairly sure. Look at the photo you get on Google images...I think it is a match

Thanks Resin and mer201, I looked at the Brown Thrasher and juvenile Robin photos myself tonight. As much as I would like it to be a Brown Thrasher it resembles the juvenile Robin more.

You can bet if I get something more interesting I will let you know!
