(1) I notice that my posts to the forum have a "NO" in the left column under "New"; whereas everyone else has a "YES." How come?
(2) How do I mark a message for "watch"?
Sorry to trouble the Water Garden with these basic forum questions, but I am just learning about Dave's Garden and how to use it.

Hi Weidner... one of my favorite friends (who passed away a few years ago) had last name Weidner, and she was a great gardener. Welcome! Question #2, if you post to a topic (or create your own thread), you will automatically be watching. Or, if you just want to watch and haven't joined the conversation, just above any post you can choose "watch thread". Just click on it, and you'll be watching.
Question #1, I'm not sure about, but I think that means whether there are any new posts on your thread.

To answer question #1, I've found with the few posts I've made that if you start a new thread or respond to one, the thread is marked with "NO" meaning there are n new posts. The ones marked with "YES" mean that there are posts that you have not read.
For #2, when you start a new thread or respond to one, you are automatically assigned to watch that thread.
