Has anyone here heard about the hackers that hacked some of the yahoo groups? i was just thrown off of violet reflections by the hacker. I have heard from so many of my yahoo group friends that they got thrown off to.I sure hope they can't do that here. it's so sad, hopefully the moderators of these groups can do something on monday with yahoo.

Bonnie, I only belong to two groups and neither of them was involved except that one lady whose identity was taken. That is scary.
Oh, I haven't heard anything about hackers. How is it possible? I don't belong to any other on line site though. Oh, except Epiforums, which I don't visit regularly. How do these hackers get you thrown off?
Isn't it amazing what some people will stoop to? So much fraud out there nowadays. It is so sad!
Lin, I may not have all the facts right but I do know they were able to delete an entire group of violet people. (I think it was two groups) In other words, if one person doesn't have all the personal email addresses of members, it will be disastrous.
Wow! How in the world can someone do that? I guess there are some real computer savvy folks out there to be able to accomplish deleting an entire group of folks.
Is this forum you are talking about some AV forum? I didn't know of any other groups out there but probably wouldn't find the time to visit anyway. I joined another yahoo group that Allison told me about once but ended up asking them to cancel me. I had a lot of trouble maneuvering around the site and never had the patience to learn. I think that one was called Plantsofallkinds or something like that.
it seems someone hacked into a moderators computer & deleted the whole group, thanks goodness we were able to start another group without her computer. it happened to 3 different groups.
