Mulberry, FL

The flower got a little taller I have a picture of it last year I dug up and it was not verigated go figure. I take alot of pictures and look back from time to time

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

Did you ever find out the name to the ginger yet? ...LOL...Did it come back this year?

Miami, FL

It looks to be a variegated sport of Curcuma "purple prince" but would really need to see a closeup of the actual flower to know for sure.

Hi Scott it is slow coming up this year I can tell it by the verigated leaves I put it in the ground think it did better when i left it in the pot. But as late as it is in the year here it has hasn't been up long just 2 little leaves starting 3 inches long. When it decides to get going I will post another picture of it thanks ....Dana
