Apparently it's a sport of Mary Rose and will display this tendency on certain blooms. I loved it. The rose garden at Alnwick Gardens was magnificent yesterday!

Yesterday morning was cloudy and a little cool, and not long after my visit it started raining. The country is being battered by summer gales today.. It was perfect for taking photos yesterday though with the cloud cover.
