Have several friends who want to try to bring their herbs in for the winter in Zone 6.

What are your best tips for growing herbs indoors?

I keep mine in a south window and water once a week. No fertilizer.
Some plants are not worth bringing in though. Might see what they want to try.
Experimenting is always fun though.
