DAYLILY/IRIS Secret Trade... What Did You Get????????

Figured I would start one of these too! I did mail mine out today so with any luck it will be recieved by saturday. sue

Plan on getting things ready--then saw calender, will dig and dry and mail on Tues. How did Labor Day get here so quickly.

I'm Mailing on Tuesday also, especially because of the Secret Plant Trade coinciding with this one. Labor Day is one holiday things will not work round the clock.

i received my trade on friday from jody. My package contained 4 daylilies, 'Siloam Royal Prince', Chicago Picotee lace, Anna Warner, and Strawberry Candy. I looked them up on the internet and was pleasantly surprised to find that we had the same taste in daylilies. :-)

Thank you again jody, for a very nice group of daylilies. I look forward to there blossoms next summer.

Wow! Lucky me. I got my secret daylily and iris box from Ruby42. She sent me 5 named daylilies and 2 irises.These are all new to my garden! :) Plus she sent some great metal markers for the daylilies. Every thing arrived in perfect shape. I looked up the daylilies and wow! They're beautiful.

Joy, I am glad you like them all! I did notice you wanted doubles so I was able to give you a couple of them. I was really sweating it out when I saw the best way to send daylilies was dry. I had just come back from the postoffice when I saw the thread about it, the thought crossed my mind to go back and repack them. (as you can see I didn't) Anyway glad they arrived o.k. and before the holiday weekend! ENJOY!!! sue

Molly, I am!!! I got a full box of a dozen iris !!!!! And a few bulbs (?). Thank you so much Molly!!!! And it got here next day, ain't that grand:)

Soo Glad to hear you got the box soo soon! I guess the post office is good for something after all LOL
O BTW the small bulbs are the purple/yellow iris also, they were in the dirt when I dug them up...then again I can't be for sure positive on that because those were dug up out of my bulb bed so just go ahead and plant them and maybe they will be a little surprise come next spring.

I got mine!!!! Thanks to Teresa I got 4 new ones to add to my red colllecton (Red Reward, Ed Murray, Hearts Afire and Autumn Red) and Striking Plum will be the 2nd entry in my purple bed. Thanks so very much. I had to stop my digging and open the package-just like a holiday!:)

I recieved my box today! Crested chic a big thank you! You did wonderful! Inside the box was a big clump of red Daylilly(I needed red!) 4 pink Iris',( I have none of these) A Heirloom Lemon yellow daylilly,(i didn't have one of these1) And A White Brug! I am so happy!!! I have been wanting to try my hand at Brug's to. I got him planted already! It's raining out so i suppose the others will have to wait till tomorrow to be planted in my new flower bed. Thank you Poppysue for getting this all together, you did a wonderful job!

Well I am 2 for 2 now!!!!!!! Recieved daylily and iris today from MarciaGeiger!!!! I recieved 3 NICE clumps of daylilies, one that is a light frosted yellow (belle Isle?), a double apricot (cotton club?) and the third Marcia is not sure of the name but she sent a pic and it is VERY pretty (burgandy and white). She also sent iris, and they are for my pond, yellow with dark markings! Thanks marcia for all the new plant's and for taking the time to even notice that I have a pond!///// and poppysue thanks to you too for organizing this trade your hard work is appreciated by all!!!! sue

My secret trade came in yesterday. Barbie sent me 2 iris Titans Glory and Superstition. What a cool combo. She also sent me 2 different daylilies. Thanks Barbie, it was a sweet surprise on such a dark day.

I must apologize to "eyes" she was my secret trader. I had forgotten that Barbie and I had set up a trade several weeks ago and it came without a note and at the deadline of the secret trade. So I was assuming that she was the secret trader. However today, I received my real secret trade from "EYES". I was kinda confused (stay that way quite a bit) when I saw a box sitting on the counter. She sent me Magic Man Iris and Blushing Parfait Daylilies. Gonna go put them in the ground early in the morning.

Thanks so much "eyes" so sorry that I got this a little mixed up, I just had to clear away a few cob webs.

I received my secret trade box today. In it was daylilies galore! Cee Tee, Moonlit Masquerade, Tropical Freeze, Hat Dance and Grape Ice. What an awesome surprise. Thanks Lori for really making my day!!

Thank you to Poppy-Sue for organizing this trade and also for the nice daylily plants that she sent to me. One of the ones she sent is called Evening Sea, another is Midnight Special, then there is Whimsical, and the most appropriate name for one of a secret trade---Making Friends! Thanks again Poppy!
