The flower is larger than the plant! I guess this is a trait often seen in alpine plants, yes?

Well, it is a tiny plant right now. The plant should form a mat with time, but the flower size will remain disproportionately large.

They may well be... or try NARGS later on. Plants are available from Wrightman's.
