yep, those aren't assassins, but a close realative who's a pest, florida stink bugs ive heard them called. i distinguish between the 2 at early ages by paying attention to markings.

florida stink has 2 black dots on it's abdomen, that turn into bikinis

young assassins are just orange, then develop white specs

both are very shy, geat pictures!
