So describe YOUR perfect day....

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

The sun's rays ~ kissing your face with warmth…
A refreshing cool breeze running its fingers gently through your hair…
The oceans serenade ~ its surf rhythmically keeping time…
The whisperings of fall leaves as they sway to earth…
~~~~~~~
The exotic scent of Jasmine filling the evening air…
The delectable taste of dark chocolate…
The flirting voice of a moonlit, soulful saxophone…
The water-colored sunset splashed across the horizon…
~~~~~~~
Enjoying a kite's maiden dance…
A baby's sweet kisses upon your cheek…
"Man's best friend's" head resting on your lap…
Snowflakes caught on an out stretched tongue…
~~~~~~~
Dancing and singing "as if no one's watching/listening"…
Lying on a cool blanket of grass ~ thinking of…nothing at all…
Snorkeling to an underwater paradise…
A spring shower with your face lifted upward…
Yep sounds like a perfect day to me.
That is just beautiful I love it.
I can't think of anything to add. Interesting how many are from nature and cost nothing but a moment of your attention to enjoy.
Sounds great to me too. Make it about 75 degrees with a slight warm breeze watching the kids play on the swings and enjoying the beautiful flowers and listening to the birds.
absolutely agree Sally!
Jen - ahhh yes....but I like to be on the swing with them in lieu of watching...LOL
jen, when you said watching the kids~ reminds me of a day I took two of mine plus friend to a park, had fun and at the end, I got set up on the beach with my fave game magazine . Being able to lie there and watch them have so much fun at the quiet lake, swimming, was a wonderful feeling. Hey Chantell, cut me some slack, I was tired from hiking with them for the AM and driving there!!
"fave game magazine"?
Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)
I get 'Games Magazine' which you don't find at too many magazine displays, and has unusual crosswords and other puzzles. Cryptic Xwords that I can actually mostly solve unlike the totally baffling New Yorker ones. I subscribe but takes me about a year to finish one mag at the rate I'm going. Some people read romance, I do puzzles. So what are YOU doing up so late?
Something fun for a change. It's our anniversary today (Sunday) so we went out for dinner and saw "Sex and the City." But then my 14-year old decided her room has bugs in it (she thinks there are fleas in there, and believes that fleas are invisible). It doesn't, but to satisfy her we sprayed it and are waiting 30 minutes before letting her back in it -- I didn't spray it much, and there's a fan in there so I think it should be ok very soon. The life of a mom.
So why are you up?
Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)
I don't know! I think I'm partly rebelling and acting teeenage again by staying up late LOL
I lay down with my 11 yr old trun off the light and zonk out. Then when I get up to GO to bed, I wake up. I came down to add a clever title to an article I'm working on and then got into sorting my 1000's of pictures and deleting a very few pointless ones.
Happy anniversary!
