Well Dixie is still with us and is not going anywhere any time soon, if ever. She has totally won our hearts!!
Having hit the hot wire once she hasn't tried again...thank goodness. But boy howdy I've accidently hit the blankty blank thing several times. :-((( The latest was yesterday while pulling cactus in the dog run...leaned a bit too close and POP right in the head...again. If I pull more today or tomorrow it gets unplugged!
FYI...if you have a shelf of plants near the hot wire and a leaf from a hen&chicks is touching it the WHOLE shelf and all the plants on it get "energized". Found that out the hard way too. LOL Actually, I'm surprised the stupid thing didn't short out. Oh well, our Miss Dixie Doodle is a sweetie and is getting along with the other 4, so I guess a few pops to Mom are worth it. What can I say...rather me then her.
