Think so! They get very woody/heavy over time. That arch fell over last winter. Weighed a ton.

Hello, anybody home?
I'm looking to purchase this vine from Brushwood also.
Victorgardener, does it bloom very long? Does it fruit, and do birds like the fruit? Would it respond well to pruning to keep in check?
I'm looking for something in the purple/magenta/pink family that will attract hummingbirds (and possibly Orioles??)

Love your photos!

Hi,

Yes to all! Long-blooming, nice fruit and easily pruned. Birds love it.
