This is another pic of them blooming. They are nice plants and look really pretty. The pics are not great. I didn't have great light when I was trying to take them. This is

Awful pictures.

Makshi they aren't that bad! I have days no matter how I try my plants just seem like they don't want their picture taken..lol..Those are both very neat streps...space dust has always been a tricky one for me to grow but ohhh I love that bloom..I got a Massens White from Brenda awhile back and that one always seems happy..Gotta love that : )

Love your streps, Makshi. Do you know that Kimskreations sent me a leaf of Space Dust and she is not blooming true. I wish I knew the reason why. Yours is lovely.

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Thank you both. Gail why do you think it isn't blooming true?

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

Makshi I always have the hardest time catching the yellow throat on Maassen's White but you did it! I'm happy to see them both blooming for you.

Both of these plants were from leaves I put down last spring with the mid rib cut out. I ended up with so many babies they've been coming out my ears! ^_^ I've been so happy to find good homes for them here on DG!!

Very nice Makshi! I love that white one! Someday maybe I will live in an area that Strep's will like!

I have been itching to take the mid vein out and stick a few streps. What do you all think are about 10 of the favorites ones? I only did that with Spiritual Corridor last year and just finished finding homes for them..........you get so many babies and I can't decide which 10 I should propagate this way.

Ottawa, IL(Zone 9a)

boy, you must be lucky, everytime i try that i lose most of them to rot.

That was beginner's luck, Bonnie.......They will probably rot this time.......but I do so want to try again.

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

I had good beginners luck with the vein cut out and laying the whole leaves down too, but I'm still not willing to do it again!!! LOL So many plants, it was a pain in the patoot!

But Gail ... if I was you and wanting to do it with some popular streps I would choose any of Fantasy streps you have. Like Spin Art, Space Dust and the Bristol Party series as they are so very popular .. I also noticed that Remembering John is commanding a very good price for just a leaf section on eBay!! And of course Spiritual Corridor as it is such a beauty ... So just my two cents worth ... ^_^

Also Gail some where you were posting that you had a Space Dust not blooming true ... I just had the same experience! But the second set of blooms are coming on and they are blooming as the fantasy Space Dust blooms ... so one of the parent plants must have come through on the first blooms????

In this picture you can see the first blooms that I got from this plant (at the bottom) that I grew from leaf .... but then you can see that a true Space Dust bloom is getting ready to open up with the next bloom (at the top) ..... so let us know what your next blooms do on the Space Dust plant that you say isn't blooming true look like....
