This morning I witnessed one of those huge black crows attempting to snag my small 4 lb. cat. The crow tried 3 times to swoop down and pick up the cat with it's claws, but the cat was too fast for it, luckily.
I'm pretty sure the crows have a nest in a row of giant Italian Cypress on the next property over, as lately there is a lot of crow activity in those trees.
Needless to say, the cat is now FREAKED, and won't go outside...which is understandable.
I know the crows go after mice and rats but I've never heard of them attempting to snag cats.
Has anyone else ever lost a small cat to a crow?
