I live in Austin, TX and after I fenced off an area from the deer, a tiny little vine has appeared. Is this some type of passi? Thanks,

Not passie, my guess would be some species of matelea.
A very good eye over on the Texas forum identified it as Climbing Milkweed, Sarcostemma crispum (Milkweed family) . I would have never found it! Thanks for your input.
