PlantFiles says this plant needs partial to full shade. I don't have shade.
Does anybody grow this plant in the sun? Will it burn in the sun? I'm in zone 9a, central Florida.

The white areas will burn in the sun, that is a fact.

LariAnn,
Thanks for responding. I'm going to keep the plant in it's pot, in shade, until the Castor Bean plants in the garden get tall enough to provide shade.

Steve I grow mine in full sun, as long as it is kept watered you should be fine, it will fade some,
Kyle :-)
Kyle,
I think you have to take into consideration what full sun means in Florida vs. what it means in the midwest. It's not just hot here - it's a brutal, searing sun.
I have a friend in Ohio who also grows the plant in full sun. I also know thjat LariAnn has a reputation for being extremely knowledgale in aroids - if she says the plant will burn, then I'm not going to risk it.
Thanks everybody for your input.
Steve
