Interesting - incredible banana fruits....

Just wanted to share this unusual one. Got this picture through e-mail from two contacts - this seems to be doing the rounds now. I don't know what the Guinness Book says about the record. I'm not easily believing this one. May be some one here will know more about this.

Dinu ... in the Phillippnes it is called Lady Fingers - - they are so small, perhaps the size of ur thumb fingers! so sweet almost eating sugar

Rob .... those are super small bananas, compared to Chiquita bananas these are babies! well look at it this way, there are people who suffer from lack of potassium in their system, so i do not think they would mind eating these kind of bananas.

if u know the going price of these bananas in Asian, Latino or any local store, u will be inclined to plant them. nice to make smoothies with them w/out added sugar to sweeten them. they are naturally sweet!

We have some small, very sweet ones in Brazil too, they're called "banana ouro" which means gold banana! But my favortie is "banana prata" (silver banana) which is a little more acidic in taste and I have never found in grocery stores over here....I've been doing some research and I think I finally found it, if I'm right it's the Musa called "Dwarf Brazilian"!
