Fresh Eggs in Porter?

Porter, TX(Zone 9a)

This is probably a long shot but I'll ask anyway.

Does anyone know where I can get fresh from the chicken (or duck) eggs in Porter? I'm also close to Humble, Spring and Kingwood.

I know where I can get a pig or goat but not eggs, lol

San Antonio is a long way to go for eggs, lol. I live just a little bit north of Houston.

I just want them for my own use, ya know a couple dozen :)

I will ask at The Farmer's Market @ Rice this afternoon.

DW won't eat a store-bought egg since we have been buying there. Flavor is so much better.

There's a website www.livingstonitown.com and lots of times people post having fresh eggs for sale. Hope this helps, wish I knew some on in Porter it would be much closer for you

Thank you for your help everyone!

Porter is considered rural by the PO and there are lots of people here with horses, cows, pigs, goats ..etc...surely there there must be chickens, lol

Try asking at the feed store or call your local county extension agent. Either place might know of someone selling eggs.
