New Little Pond

New Hampshire, NH(Zone 5b)

I've heard it said that ponding is addictive. Now I know it is true!

In 2005 I built my first pond. I wasn't totally happy with it so in 2006 I started over and expanded it to include a 70 foot stream, multiple waterfalls and a second, larger pond connected to the first by a channel. I love my watergarden and never dreamed I'd want or need anything more, but just last week I built pond number 3. It's just a little one - and really simple when compared to my larger one, but I built it because I cannot really see my larger watergarden from the more important areas of my house. So this new little one is right by my new patio and screen room and it is also very visible from inside the living room and master bedroom.

Now I've got everything I could want or need - so no more expansions - honest!! (snicker, snicker...)

It's not done yet - but I thought I'd post the progress so far...

Very nice. Here is my biggest one this year. Haven't gotten the bridge between them yet. There is a little one to the right. BEV
