OK, i bit.... now by Thursday i need to find... an extra wasding pool, or play pen, or move someone out of coopdeville... hmmmm..

btw, they do not charge shipping in the state of texas, so for 75 bucks i got 50 bantams. there was a 7 dollar charge for SMALL orders, she explained i would have to get 100 to avoid that charge....

it's still hot here, but i am not THAT delirious....

hey truest, this is a good opp for you, are you here?

chances are he overheard me placing that order, just doens't know yet what i spent the dough on... when he see me moving chickens and cleaning brooders, i'll just remind him those guinea eggs are hatching soon LOL... let me go do something nice for him BEFORE he finds out...

come on now folks, who is with me on giving these sweet chicks good homes? 1.50 each, and when older you could sell them on Craig's list or somewhere for 5-10 bucks...

well, thanks to Molly, i am a chicken slave once again. 58 bantams in the dining room, and i am having a new guest over this afternoon!

the insturctions from Ideal say to be very careful, wash your hands after handling the chicks, and never keep them in your family's living area. i wash my hnads BEFORE handling them too LOL, and currently we don't even eat in the DR! guess they haven't seen the pics in this forum, with all our "modern" brooders...

Novinger, MO(Zone 5b)

Congrats tf......sometimes we can't just help but to get more, huh? 'modern' brooders......LOL......I think from what I have done, read, and seen since being here at DG a very interesting book could be written about all the highly creative 'brooders' we use! : )

Gosh tf I was so glad to 'help' you fulfill your maternal side LOL ;-)

Ladybug it would make a very interesting read!!
