COLD SORE REMEDY

Here is a cold sore remedy I found in an old health food book:

Dab Italian Red wine on the cold sore and spread it over the entire mouth area. It works for chapped lips also, and any other sores you may get in the mouth.

It will start to dry the cold sore immediatly and brings almost instant relief.

This is the only thing that worked on my son's constant outbreaks. Now he gets no more.

Just put a little wine into a small bowl and leave on the kitchen counter. Everytime you walk by dab a little more on the sores. Several times a day.
The book said it is not the alcohol that kills..it is the chemicals in the grape skins that kill the virus, and these can ge gotten out of the grapeskin skin only through fermentation.
Only red wine from Italy will work. There is some chemical in their soil that the grapes absorb.
I heard plain grape juice will work, but it takes several days to take effect...Too long to wait.
