Hi,
I'm new to DG. What a great place!
I'm introducing my Akita, Sara. She's now 7 years old and what a personality! She's very talkitive and animated. When she was a pup she had the one ear up and one ear down thing. Now, unless she's really tired, both ears stand. She's not show quality unless there's a personality show somewhere. When she gets to "talking" she sounds a lot like Chewbacca from Star Wars. Hilarious! She sleeps with one paw on top of her head. One of the funniest things I've ever seen! She steals laundry to make her "bed". She will take at least one thing from every family member, most from "dad", who is her favorite, pile it up and do the circle dance to arrange them all just right, and lays in them. She howls at me when I take the clothes to wash them and procedes to gather more for a new bed. Gotta love her!
She's the first dog that ever owned us that, strangely enough, is allergic to meat. It makes her deathly ill. Strange, huh?
Well, that's our girl!
