What is the most scented Plumeria?

Help!

Which cultivar has the sweetest and strongest scent? I like sweet fragrant scents and I have smelled some Plumeria blooms that were awesome but didn't know what cultivar they were.

There is a list that I compiled a few years ago based on my own opinions and opinions of fellow plumie growers in the FAQ's Sticky Thread: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/687548/

Becky, in no particular order, some of my favorites are:

1. Singapore
2. Celadine
3. Dwarf Singapore White
4. Kimo
5. Grove Farm
6. Vera Cruz Lutica
7. Vera Cruz Rose
8. Lemon Yellow (my made-up name for an unnamed one)
9. Pacific Pearl (from C-Stars)
10. Loi Kratong (from Thailand)

Others which are supposed to be outstanding are Dwarf Deciduous and San Germain.

Okay ... I had NO idea there were so many scents with Plumeria! I am blown away! I really really appreciate the wonderful lists.

I would like to obtain 2 Plumeria listed. Where do you get yours from? What nursery online do you use?

THANK YOU so very much for these lists. I am totally clueless, but now I have an idea of which Plumeria to look for before buying.

I had no idea they were yours. I got that a long time ago in a file with plumie names and alias and everything. The file is HUGE and from how it looks, compiled from many places. Thanks for letting me know

Becky, I got most of my plumerias from Florida Colors Nursery and highly recommend them as having the best prices and the most quality products: http://www.floridacolors.com/

Hi Chris, yes, I created the file over at Maui Plumeria Gardens and revised it and have given permission for it to be posted over at Maui Plumeria Gardens, Florida Plumeria Society, The Southern California Plumeria Society, here at Dave's Garden, and a couple of other places. It is a copyrighted document, and it should have my name on it when it is re-posted since it is work that I own and created. Unfortunately, not everyone does that, and it gets copied without proper credit being given. A lot of time and effort went into creating that document so I do appreciate getting credit for it when it is re-posted. It was actually created using a Microsoft Word document and shouldn't be a huge file and was only compiled using my opinions and the opinions of some fellow growers. The list that you posted is an older version of the same document. As I say in the disclaimer, it is a work in progress.

Chris, your post ended up coming up blank.

Becky, you are so welcome. They are great, aren't they? They are super nice people too. They just updated their web site too, and it looks great.
