I was interested to see what everyone thought of the new Dr Cho Colocasia Hybrids. I am growing all the known forms as of now and have yet to get them to full size. Anyone have any good photos of them yet? Here is the list so far.

The maui magic seems to have a bit of a black reflective leaf. I don't think it is darker than black magic but it does seem to have a sheen to the leaves.

I don't understand your statement. Do you mean, Mine looks like some kind of "Hawai" EE? I got the name for mine on the tag from Lowes.

I have the Diamond Head. It is a beautiful plant. Or I should say was a beautiful plant. I got home one day last week to find grackles had rode the stems to the ground and had proceeded to peck all of the stems and developing leaves. I got home just as they were finishing their destruction. I don't know what caused them to do that, but the damage was done. It's growing back out nicely though and once it looks good again, I'll get a picture. Diamond head was already about 2-2/12 feet tall and the leaves were huge and glossy. I keep it very wet too. It constantly sits in a tray of water and I feed it to the point that I think it's going to croak but it keeps on sucking that stuff up. Hopefully in a week or two I can post a piccie.
I have 'Diamond Head' growing. This is not the best pic in the world. It's in a 1/2 whiskey barrel planted with 'Peach Parfait' brug, and 'Purple Metel' dat. The whiskey barrel to the left has a Colocasia (not sure of sp?) with Banana Canna, Canna 'Tropicanna', and the Banana Canna has 'Tye Dye' morning glory growing up it. In the pot in the back corner, really tuff to see in this pic, is the Giant Elephant Ear, I purchased it at Logee's...not sure of the exact Gen/sp.
