how to get guinea hens to go broody

i have left the eggs in the pen waiting for one of my hens to go broody with no luck when does this happen

any luck? you need about 40 eggs before they will set on them...

well i have about 25 now and a hen that will sit for a few minutes at a time wont these eggs go bad waiting for a hen to sit?

somehow no. i guess perhaps when htey start pushing bad eggs out it might be some of the ones first laid. i think she sits a few minutes to add an egg?

maybe so I am starting to worry that they will never sit i just lost 3 hens last week to a dog so I am really wanting some babies
