Moodene, she looks healthy. If you are worried about the number of leaves she has, have you tried giving her a bit more fertilizer? If you let lower shoots remain, she'll produce more leaves.

I can't wait to see her open her blooms! Be sure to post pics.

The lower shoot was the older stem and it is about 2 feet tall.. I planted her in the ground with aged horse and chicken poo all mixed up in the hole, it is after that when the side shoot started coming up and doing its thing...The older stem is still doing nothing but sitting there with leaves on it..by the way, this brug is in full sun from 10 am to 5 pm.. gets watered every other day...so I know she is being fed. I do not use chemical plant food..all organic stuff... Next week will be the Epsom salt feeding...

Blooms will be beautiful and that white doggie in the background, cannot get cuter than that! Clem

No she can't get any cuter!!... I may snap off that older stem to jump start it..Babebera broke 2 of mine-Orange Sherbet and Super Nova down to about 4 inches tall 2 months ago..That broken stems now have extra shoots and about 2 feet tall..I took the older stems and planted them somewhere else and doing well there...lol..so go figure...

Maybe she is getting too much sun. Brugs seem to like morning sun and mid-day and afternoon shade.
