Foxgloves and astilbes - good companions?

I want to plant foxgloves and astilbes - I'd like to plant them side-by-side in an area that gets dappled sun and a lot of shade. But how about the soil? Will foxgloves be happy in the acidic soil favored by astilbes?

I'm in z 6 - Central Jersey
