You and your folks are wonderful - that's what friends are for.

BTW - Still got the Jeep?

I lived in Anniston for almost a year...I didn't realize that Alabama was on the other side of the date line from Texas. Here it is Friday the 13th in Austin, but already Saturday there in Alabama!

I love the stories....but I was about to have to make an unscheduled visit to find out what happened to that dog!

OK David you got me on that one......I know the day is wrong, its an issue with my program I use to write with and all I have to do is fix one thing, and you have motivated me to fix it which I did before I wrote this.....so to you I owe a thank you.....
and thank you also for reading the story and being nice enough to take the time to write me.....

Goofy, I don't know where you got that nickname from 'goofybulb' but its the funniest one I've seen in a while.......and I'm happy you liked the story too, thanks for reading it.....

Bubba I sold my Jeep before I moved overseas for awhile.....I spent a few years traveling....BUT the Jeep is still running and here in town, The guy owns it whose father I went to school with, but he painted it blue, blue for gods sake!!!!....what was wrong with canary yellow?.....:)

Well, I'm just goofy sometimes, and I am crazy about many bulbous plants. My first garden patch was filled with tulips and hyacinths.
To put it into a short example: on my last access of goofiness, I ended up with 40 boxes of "for Christmas" bulbs (daffodils, amaryllis and calla lilies). Nothing wrong so far? They were all mine to keep (I have a very patient husband). It was the end of February...

OK "eyes" I know that Possum Trot is a real place, I know I used to have friends from there....but I ain't going with Toadsuck, TX.....that's got to be made up.......:)

goofy, I've estimated just how many bulbs are in the back of that car and I've come to one inescapable conclusion.....You are goofy.......:)

No that was just Alfalfa.....I liked Alfalfa, I liked all them.....I can remember watching them on TV when I was just a kid, funny I guess my father did too, at the movies....well maybe his younger brothers anyways.....

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Yeah, Spanky McFarland was from Ft. Worth, passed away a couple of years ago....wonder how many are still with us....Buckwheat, Darlene, of course old Tony Blake is still with us.

Yea Robert Blake, he was the sad eyed kid.....I read a good web site about them and what happened to them, some of them kinda tragic or sad and some pretty interesting....
