Just been looking at some of the pix from the mid-atlantic swap at Jody's; looks like y'all had a great time...sure hope to make the next one.
This year I planted herbs for the first time. I thought I was keeping them pinched back, but they seem to be developing flowers overnight. We were gone over a long weekend and came home to a flowering basil. Trying to figure out if that's their nature or if it's whatever is causing everything else to bloom early (I've got a plantaginea hosta in bud).
Does anyone have any suggestions/advice about growing herbs in this region?
