T&M's 50% off sale began yesterday. It will last until June 19, I think. Go fast before things run out! Parks is also in the middle of its sale. Unbelievable prices on roses and good prices on seeds too.
Thompsonandmorgan.com sale
very dangerous!!! Don't go there or you'll buy everything in site.

Thank you, gloriag!
Too late, LilliMerci! I went! I saw! I bought!

I bought so many of the things I really loved in the catalog but couldn't afford at their prices: poppy Fruit Punch, foxglove
Candy Mountain, columbine Firecracker,
3 kinds of Lupine, hollyhock Appleblossom, 2 kinds of primula, and a couple more. Now, I am thinking about starting some of them right away. This is really so exciting.
Oh, gloriag, I see from what you mentioned that I missed a few things...I have to go back....
I too got some Foxglove Candy Mountain, Hollyhock Appleblossom and a bunch of other stuff. Of course I wanted a catalog and they were already out of 2008 catalog, but you can take $10 off $35 order if you use the code CR888. Yikes!
***Edited for additional information***
TM just called and said that they can not offer the $10 coupon since the seeds are already on sale.

I L@@Ked...LOL. I did find some veggie seeds that might be good for farmers market sales.
P
Oh gosh, I should not have even opened that page. CC in hand and flowers on the brain, and 60 bucks later. All in seeds!!!!!!!!! DH is gonna cut up my CC. Now will have to watch the mail in 7 to 10 days and make sure I get there before he does. :)
Thanks for the sale announcement. I did buy most of my veggy seeds from T&M this past spring and all are doing great.

I need to knock it off too. I have so many seeds now,I didn't get to sew a fraction of them this year.
I caught a hosta liner sale at Q and Z Nursery. Bought 12 each of 8 var.
Wally World is having sale on bales of peat...reg.$9.97...sale $7.00. I'm grabbing CC and hub's truck. I want about 10 bales plus 20 bags of organic humus. Hope it fits in the short bed truck.
Thank goodness I pay the bills...hub's would faint if he saw the CC statments...LOL

There is a local warehouse that, one magical day a year, opens to the public.
There are bulbs! Begonia tubers! Amaryllis! Calla lillies! Clematis! On and on...
And Oh, yeah, they have pots, too.
So I went and spent outrageously...and it is OK, you see, because it is like marketing with me - it is OK I spent all that money on pots because I will sell plants in the spring, and the pots will be another selling point...
So, they opened to the public a second time...and I went back today and bought even MORE pots...
So, now I not only don't know where I will put all my plants, but I have no idea where I will store all these pots...
But it's OK, you see, because one day people will buy all of them...
And I will be reimbursed for all I have spent on plants all these years...if I can just buy enough things that people will buy...
I think I need therapy...
brightstar,
don't worry we all do and that's why there's group therapy...LOL

PBA. Plant Buyers Anonymous. Hi, I'm Nicole and I'm a plant addict... :)
Whoo-Hoo! I went back to Wally World to pick up some peat and they had dropped the price to $5.00 per large bale. Would have bought more but truck was full after 10 bales and 20 bags of humus....even the back seat. Now I have plenty of potting mix supplies for all those seeds from T&M. I've managed to keep the CC holstered on the Park Seed sale....LOL.....but I'm getting lots of emails on spring bulb sales. Lord help me!
I think I may have to make another trip to WW for another load. I have lots of trees and shrubs that need to be re-potted in the fall and I may as well be prepared.
P
Yes, bigred, it is better to be prepared...I think I need to buy more potting soil for all those plants I will have to pot up for the winter...
Where will I put them all? The greenhouse is only 10x10...and I have so many plants now! Some are BIG plants...
Brightstar,
my greenhouse is apx. 20x40 but I still can't everything in for the winter so the really hardy stuff stays out for the winter.
I haven't made it back to Wally World yet. Too darn busy getting daylilies, trees and shrubs bumped up. I was hoping to have all the plants in pots less than 4" repotted so they wouldn't have to be water so often in hot weather but I'm not going to make it.Hope I don't lose any small seedlings.
P
Oh! I missed it!
Oh Good Grief! I just ordered another $30.00 worth of seeds.....and one white-leafed daylily from Park Seed. Somebody take these dang CC away from me....LOL

Yeah, Parks got me earlier with their big "buy one, get two free" sales. Bought asparagus, strawberries, hydrangeas, and seeds for myself, MIL, and SIL. Now I just have to get SIL to reimburse me, since she got more than MIL and myself put together, and it is on MY CC. . .
I got sucked in on the T & M seed sale, too. I ordered one of each of these:
Iberis crenata
Amaranthus tricolor Joseph's Coat
Nigella damascena Oxford Blue
Portulaca Sundial Peach
Viola x wittrockiana Silver Wings
Scabiosa atropurpurea Beaujolais Bonnets
Gaillardia pulchella Razzle Dazzle
Eschscholzia californica Appleblossom
Viola : Chalon Supreme Wildberry Mixed
Matthiola Starlight Scentsation
Viola x williamsii Velour Blue Bronze
Delphinium (Larkspur) ajacis The Seven Dwarfs
Verbena x hybrida Adonis Mango
My original shopping cart was over $80, just in seeds, so I opened them all up in separate windows, and had each my boys pick 4 or 5 kinds, and I picked my top favorites, and the rest had to go by the wayside. Got it down to $28, so didn't do TOO badly! LOL
Hope they come quickly--I'm participating in a seed swap, and would love to include some of these!
Angie
