Hi there! I had a herb question and wondered if anyone could help me, since the only herb experience I have is the mint invading my backyard, courtesy of the previous owners! At a baby shower, I recently got a herb package of basil, parsley, and chives. At first I thought they would be packaged separately, but when I opened the box, I realized it was a mixture.
I thought about planting it on a strawberry pot I have, but don't know how I'll "pick out" the herbs I want when I want them. Have any of your ever planted a mixture like this?
Thanks,
Dionne
Basil, parsley, chive mix?
Well they should look all different when growing . the basil is an annual and won't come back so you will just have the other to growing together next year.
You could try starting them in a seed tray then pick out the seedlings separately to transplant, but that seems like a lot of work.
^_^ Good luck
The seeds of all three look quite different. Maybe it's easier to split them up before sowing.....
Non of these species is invasive, btw.
Thanks so much! I'll plant them tomorrow! :)
