The flies are horrendous here. Very few of the biting ones, thankfully, but I'm already seeing bot eggs on Alee and every morning when I go out to put their fly masks on, the flies are swarming around their faces. Not like sitting out in a hot field with this humidity isn't bad enough. I had ordered "Zonk It" from Valley Vet - it appears to be pretty worthless from what I can tell. And it has that awful baby-oil smell to it.
One of my friends is suggesting the cider vinegar method - I guess she adds it to her horses feed. Any experience with it?
