Help with companion plants in zone 7b

I recently planted Colocasia esculenta 'Black Beauty' and 'Black Magic' beside my Fastia japonica on the north side of the house. These Colocasia are supposed to reach 4-5ft tall and wide. What companion plants would look good in the areas around the Colocasias. I just dont like the bare/emply look.
