While visiting my brother in Los Angeles this past February, I decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. A while into my walk a hummer started buzzing around my head. I followed it to a small tree hanging over the road. There she landed on a tiny nest not much bigger than a walnut shell, just a few feet away from my head. What a pleasant discovery! See if you can spot her atop her nest in the center of the photo.
