Company Coming

Piedmont, AL(Zone 7b)

I wrote a little story about getting ready for folks coming to see my garden, like most folks I love to share my garden with other gardeners and I love to go see other folk's gardens...If you have time to read it I sure hope you enjoy it.....I'm thinking this one's a hoot......:)
And again thanks for letting me post my stories here....I sure appreciate it and I hope you enjoy them......

Paul, Ive had dates like that but they were losers and no one is going to pay to see my garden much less come from somewhere else to see it so I guess I'm a loser all the way around. And you know what? Frankly, my dear.........

What I wouldn't give to be a member of the Jacksonville Garden Club tomorrow morning to be able to see your garden in person! My DH used to hate it when we were going to have a houseful of people over for Thanksgiving, etc. I had a list as long as your arm of what needed wiped, washed, and whisked (note the w's); just for a short look before everyone trashed it with chips, spilled drinks, and etc. Since I garden now, I don't worry over the house as much....now it's the yard!

Another good story from you, Paul from Alabama.

Ann, Rhett always had a way with words......:)
And you ain't no loser.....Lord I didn't have any garden at all for most of my life and wasn't a loser, I was just backing into gardening.....took me a long, long time but I got there, and so did you.....

Sheila, my wife made some muffins and we're having orange juice and lemonade.....and we have just enough extra for you....I wish you could be here, gardens were meant to be enjoyed and the more the merrier....
