Thanks for the kind words! I know that I've enjoyed many of your pics on davesgarden. (I love this poppy--my second attempt at growing it. This time, it seems to like where it's placed, giving me several blooms a day. The blooms last only one day--and my earlier experience with the plant was that its blooms would come only one at a time--one a day.)

Sound like daylilies! But if you get many going at the same time, it's worth the show.
I have this one blooming right now, I love orange anything, used to hate it!
Papaver atlanticum 'Flore Pleno', they almost look alike, also called Spanish Poppy but the species is different, very odd.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this. Do you happen to know what the difference is between Spanish poppies and Moroccan ones? Apparently, they are very similar--guess I was hoping the Moroccan had more profuse blooms! I read something about the two kinds a few years ago but don't remember now and can't find the article.
