LMAO, Ardesia!! When I was a kid, that's what my mom used to say to people when they asked how she got a red haired, freckled daughter (parents and brother all have brown hair)...

Hi Kyle, how's the sandbagging coming along. I hope your downtown planters do not suffer any damage from the floods.

All of you Midwesterners - stay safe!

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

well the river has crested and is slowing going down, but did breach one levee and swamped a large industrial park, and a huge area of homes. The whole metro looks like a scene from a WWII movie with all the sand bags everywhere.
One of our gardens got drowned out, may have to replace the plants, but all my regular planters are high and dry6. Whew!
LOL

My kind of hib :)

New Castle, IN

I'm new to this forum. Samed zone as Kyle. I only have 2 Hibiscus in one huge pot. A gold and a red one. I've only gotten a few blooms this summer. May have to try different balance of fertilizer. Love your freckled Hibiscus.
