question about CLEOME seed pods

North of Atlanta, GA(Zone 8a)

I am a newbie with seeds. Have a Cleome bought from local nursery and this morning I noticed these long green looking thing on the lower part of the flowers. Are these seed pods? When do I take them off the plant? Do I break this open for seeds?

Yep, these are seedpods. Wait until they turn brown and pliable and then you can harvest. When you can roll the pod in your finger and it starts to split open, they are ready.

Thanks!
