Scent Combinations II IN the ground....

Middle of, VA(Zone 7a)

...ok, now....how about IN the ground....what's growing together that's making music to your nose?
I've got:
*Stephan's Jasmine (thank you, Becky) behind a trellis with 'Mystery' Gardenia in front.
*Kleim's Hardy Gardenia - w/a pot of tuberose clusters (thanks to my sis) in front
*Daphne with Butterfly Ginger - evening stock - dwarf gardenia (I'll give it one more try in the partial shade THIS time though), Lillys of the Valley and Violas in an area beneath my dwarf tree.
*Back yard on trellis - Passis (Incense and Maypop) - a spicy vining petunia and white hyacinth bean vine.....

LOL! I'll be watching for ideas too!

I've made an attempt to grow a fragrant garden right outside my master bedroom so that when I open the sliding door I smell beautiful things. I've got a few kinds of lavender, Mandevilla laxa, Jasminum nitidum, Cestrum nocturnum, Osmanthus fragrans, and Buddleja asiatica. Between the gophers and a super unusually cold snap in winter '06 and the fact that all the shrubs started off pretty small and are taking a couple years to get going, I really haven't been able to enjoy much besides the Buddleja so far. But in theory it should be very nice someday!

Sounds like it will be a nice combination ecrane!
