I've spotted a couple of small egg masses on the leaves of my apple trees - yellow eggs, long ovals, standing upright.
If it weren't June, I'd suspect the rosy apple aphid, because I found a few branches infested earlier this spring. But I don't see any aphids now, and they're not supposed to be laying eggs this time of year.
Like to know what else it might be, before whatever it is hatches.
Somebody laying eggs on my apple trees
Those sound like ladybug eggs -- the good guys.

Ah! Good to know, then!
Just who I want around!
