Don't tell me I am the first one to read you again. What the imagination can do to you, I am still laughing my head off..... I can just see you dancing around. I find that I am looking for your threads every day. Please don't stop. It just brightens the remainder of my day.
This is one image that I am going to remember. Keep em coming, Paul from Alabama.

Hello Paul. After reading your story of the fly, I had to look at what else you had written, and found this one. You are a wonderful storyteller. I could just see that chipmunk and the nuts go flying.
keep up the stories. Jean.

Susie2....So glad you liked the story and I'm really glad it brightened your day....As far as me dancing around, it was more like when an animal gets a light shined in his eyes and darts here and darts there, well that was me all the while trying to figure out what ran up my leg........:)

Jean..thanks so much for reading the story and for taking the time to write.....I love storytelling, you know what I couldn't tell a joke if you paid me, for one thing I can't remember the darn things, I like to hear them but I can't tell them myself.....But life?....some parts of life are so funny I just love to talk about them....that's what writing is to me really, just talking to folks with a computer instead of my voice...well the voice I used to have anyways......:).....I kinda sound like a computer these days come to think of it.....:)

Now "eyes" you sound like my mother.....She puts squirrels, chimpunks, mice, rats the whole kit and kaboodle in the same class with Nazis, the Mongol hordes and the Black Plague, all rolled into one........:)

Thanks Jeanne.....so glad you enjoyed the stories and thanks for taking time to write..... I hope I can conjure up some more stories, hope so anyways....there is a fine line between conjuring and making them up, I don't make them up but in retelling some of my experiences I'm a pretty good 'conjuror'....:)
Is that a word?....Or did I conjure it up....well I reckon I did.....:)

Paul, I would swear that you are one of those guys who "discovered" the Jackaloupe and such here in Texas. You have an intense imagination that you manage to transfer in the written word to people around you. I am constantly amazed that ANYone could do that. Thanks so much for starting my day off on the right foot!

Good goin', Paul - you have trained a chipmunk to eat from your lap.

Not many of us would have thought of making a pet out of a chipmunk.

We used to play a trick on them in MN. Take an old fashioned milk bottle, the ones with the cream separation on top, and place some shelled nuts in the bottom, set the bottle on its side, and watch the fun.

The chipmunk will crawl in - fill up its cheeks and then discover that it can't get out - head is now too wide. Usually good for 15-20 minutes before the critter figures out that it must unload some of the nuts to escape. The really smart ones unload into the creamer portion, then pick them up again and drop them outside. Occasionally, a second one (with great timing) can swipe the outside ones before the first one gets out. The chase that ensues is a riot to watch.

Ann, that makes us even I reckon, you started my day off on the right foot too......thanks for reading the story and especially for taking the time to write me.....

"eyes" .....You'd be in good company as I know would be my mom.....When I'm in the car driving my mother and all her friends its kinda like 3 peas in a pod and me, the turnip........:)
