blooms are running about a week later with some of the clematis here in zone 5 b due to the cool and frosty spring i guess. for the most part early blooms have been very big. now that the vitacellas are starting to come on and bloom it is looking like summer here and feeling like it too with a heat wave in the high 90's!

thanks doss. it is one of my favorites. the blooms are at least 8 inches across and they last longer than any early large flowered bloom for me. here is a close up of one

wish i could get omoshiro. everyone is always out of it. i would trade every nelly, carnaby and dr ruppple i have (but not my piilu) for omoshiro.

Murray had told me he would have more "Omoshiro" available this fall but I noticed on his sale site today that it said they are unavailable..because I had told him when I bought mine last Spring that I wanted another this fall...Jeanne
