Tilly found out last night that it IS easier to climb UP a pole, than climb back down.
I was weeding in the garden near the clothesline pole under the elm tree, and heard tiny little kitten cries..... found MatildaKitty up the pole sitting on the crossbar looking rather pathetic......
There had been some birds in the cedars and elm tree and she must have climbed the pole to get closer to them, lol.
Anyway, thanks to a neighbours tall ladder, rescue was successful.

every kitten that I've had has managed to get themselves up a tree/pole and required rescue......
My FIL's kitten went missing for a couple days.... he (the kitten, not FIL, lol) was finally found 50 feet up a tree, requiring the fire department to rescue him.
