Ralph sounds OK in my book...........just like so many of us......well, except for the hamburgers and chocolate milk.......and the profanity..........oh....and government that WORKS!

My only sibling, a sister, and I were born six years apart. We fought the entire time we were growing up and still do from time to time. I thought when my two sons were born only 2 1/2 years apart that they would be best friends. No. Not. Never. Maybe, but they will not admit it to me or each other in this lifetime. The younger is moving from Texas to Pennsylvania and saw a sign that said "Los Angeles 2695 miles.' His comment was "Maybe now Alan and I will be far enough apart." Yet the two couples recently vacationed together skiing in New Mexico. It's hilarious to hear about the the same event from each one's perspective. Thank goodness for the sweet, intelligent girls they were fortunate enough to marry. The boys still fight. The night the younger offered to buy dinner in Taos, the older took them to a restaurant that had no prices on the menu. Younger son will have revenge!
Girl exactly three years older than the son. They don't even speak unless made to.
Both of them were/are soo spoiled even at 45 and 42. Don't get it. Somedays it breaks my heart, others I just let it slide. I did the very best I could for both of them. Go figure.
Have a brother 7 years younger and a sister 14 years younger. Love them so very much.

well LouC I wish we could make folks feel what we want them to feel but I reckon they can't make us feel what they want us to feel either....but that don't keep us from still trying when we think its worth it....
