Mine have done that Bonnie when they get too wet from my wicking that I do.......I don't think you have a bug although I use a pinch of Marathon in each and every pot of Streps I have.......just to be on the safe side.
I just cut off the bad leaves at the base and wait for new ones to come out........wish I had a picture for you to show you that I have had leaves look exactly like that!
Bonnie, if you are really worried you might spray with AVid or run Promix through each pot...........
Hi,
Is Marathon in granular form?
Gail, is that how you use it? Mix the granules in with your mix?
THanks,
Shanika
thanks Gail for the info. i did use the marathon granules in the mix.
mrsbonnie
Marathon is a granular form but I don't know where to buy it now as Cedar Creek is not selling it at all. I have seen it in big quantities but it is too expensive in big quantities.
I just put a pinch in plants that have a reputation for not liking being too wet.........like streps...I can't decide whether to put it in my sinningias but don't think I am going to do it yet.
I have read before that the granules should be placed close to the bottom where the roots are but I don't pay any attention and just put a pinch on top of the soil.
Maybe you can google Marathon 1% in small quantity.
