Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Wow, MaryE, do the adventures never stop? I'm glad everything turned out good, so we can call it an adventure and not a tragedy!

Catherine, are you enjoying your move yet, or are you still just overwhelmed with everything? Keep us posted on how you are settling in - I'm still 3 years from moving to some land, and I'm needing all the inspiration I can get to hang on and have faith ;-)

Poor Shad! It's been years since I've tangled with poison oak or fiberglass - but I do remember them well :( But I am sure impressed with the young man. None of the 13 year olds I know in our suburban tract would take on a project like that... hmmmm, and very few of the adults, either. He's gonna make some girl a great husband some day ;-)

108*F when I rolled back in to town yesterday at 4:30 p.m. I thought we were supposed to be leaving summer behind pretty soon. Cool spell a few weeks ago tricked my roses into starting some buds - but they're all fried now. One made an abortive attempt to bloom, but sadly failed. I guess I'll just have to wait a while longer.

Blessings to everyone!

Karla
